Been thinking about one of these but what really bites me is the $1,199.00 price tag that Marstar has put on it. Normally I would not complain about the price, but when I see them in the US for like $750.00, which is a $449.00 difference, it raises some questions. I feel , well....., gouged! Seems like a lot for a percussion revolver.

If anyone has any experience or could provide any insight on these revolvers it would be sincerely appreciated.

I feel the same way about the price. I'd like to have one, but that is definitely too steep. If I were to drop that kinda coin on a period revolver I would be looking a Schofield replica.
 
Well, they are "antiques" in the USA, so it shouldn't be too tricky to buy one, have it registered as a restricted and bring one over.
 
I owned a navy model lemat replica years ago when they first came out.It was a real nice gun,quality was excellent, a step up from the the other c&b
handguns.Firinig the the smoothbore barrel is a hoot.
 
Mauser mike, good point, Questar could probably help me out . I'll just work out the cost to see if it's worth it. I like it becuase it's unique, 9 shots + a 20 gage , can't go wrong. Anything weird and unusual, I'm there.

I have heard they're are really high quality, I was looking at the Army or a Navy.

If you get one , I would shure love to see some pictures of it being stripped and whatnot.
