I'm not certain where to post this message but most of the shooters who know Leo visit this forum.

I appologize in advance if this is the wrong place.

Later today Leo goes into surgery for his heart. Please keep him in your thoughts during the next few hours. He's going to need all the help we can send him.

The Old Frog is fighting for his life today.

My prayers are with you Leo.

Bob

And just to show what a true competitor Leo is, he shot the ORA Provincial Championship this past weekend. It wouldn't surprise me if he made it to the DCRA for the 2nd short course at the end of next week.

Leo has experienced some tough times in recent years. He is tough, and he is a mover.

Leo is pretty well known in this little Illinois burg. I'll pass the word that Leo needs our prayers.

Your are 100% correct, Tom. Don't count him out.

Best to all that are headed for Connaught. I'll be watching Jim's daily reports with great interest.

A great friend, a gold mine of information and a lifetime of adventures in and out of the shooting world.

We live 15 min. from each other. I was out of town and just returned yesterday night.

Good to hear Leo is in stable condition. I remembers years past when Leo had prostate surgery and shot a match a few weeks later at Connaught. He's a tough guy, great shooter and friendly.

Just finished speaking with Leo.

Had a Pacemaker installed to monitor the ticker...

Will rest for a while and later make a decision on his future shooting activities.

Still some fire left in the old lion......

Let's all wish him a quick recovery.

I had the pleasure of shooting with and learning from Leo at the Atlantic Championships labor day weekend. Great guy with lots of good stories amongst all the knowledge he shares. Apparently a tough s.o.b as well. Just a few minutes ago I got home from work and got the letter Leo said he was going to send me, a tip on a shooting skill. Let me tell you I'll be studying it carefully.

So Glad to hear that Leo is on the mend !! Met him some years ago at an APM , very down to earth ,friendly & helpful gentleman. The next year he donated a couple of Target rifles to our NPRA ! Here's to many more V's in the future!!!

Leo is on the move

I heard a car door in the drive earlier. Wife thinks it is a buddy that wants to go for a M/C ride. Wrong............It was Leo.

He looks well, and seems to be feeling fine after making the thousand mile drive from Montreal to Greenup, IL.

I told you he was a tough one!
