I used to have a Burris XTR. I hate where they placed the turrets on scope. Makes placing the scope on the rifle for proper eye relief a pain in the ***. IMHO, the Leupy is a better scope. If you can swing it though, I'd go for a Night Force
To the O/P, look into the level and quality of service offered by either company for Canadians. Maybe some people here can share their experiences (I don't have either brand, but it's well worth the price to have excellent service).
i got a burris xtr 3-12 its a great scope. like the life time warrenty, scope placement is kinda weird and looks weird without the sunshade it comes with.
other than that i love it.
i would expect the big difference between the two would be the glass quality.
