Let’s see some Ugly @ss SKSes

I want to see some genuinly used, put away wet, beat-up, and worn SKS rifles... even some rank bubba jobs would be appreciated. Not stuff you buy online. I’m taking some real creative stuff!

No store bought “tacticool” rifles... (even if they are ugly in their own rite) I want to see wood stocks and rust!

Somebody around here had to chop the buttstock off and install an AR buffer tube... or weld rails on to it.

Respectfully disagree. Perhaps a bit odd in ergonomics but I find their aesthetics pleasing. Rugged. Purposeful.

Well said! Except that I am 5 foot six, so the SKS fits me perfect.

My boss just bought an sks and when I checked it out it brought a tear to my eye
The bayo has been cut off and the laminated stock is beat to hell
But on closer inspection all the stock markings are present, no ###xx anywhere, it has all the indicators of it being non refurbed

here is mine lol. LOP was way to short for me. added a 2” block of hardwood and then was forced to paint it because the grain didn't match the original furniture.

I bought this a few years ago from a retailer who claims it came in a crate. I have never seen one like it. Honest wear , no refurb all numbers match. Looks like a mag reblue when it was Frankenpinned. I have not fired this rifle.
