Let’s see those factory tikka groups!

I’ve been through a couple of tikka rifles now and they both seemed to shoot exceptionally well, better than any Remington I’ve owned. I’m curious to see other people’s results on here. I just started load development on this tikka varmint in 7 rem mag and it’s showing good promise. 168 hunting vld/retumbo/wlrm with Hornady brass.

Impressive 5 shot group there. I don't yet have a tikka but its on the list.

Sorry should have mentioned, only a 3 shot group. Just a hunting rifle so didn’t go for 5.

My 308 at 110y. Its a shooter for sure. This is a load development target. Biggest group is .7 something smallest is .18 ish iirc. My tikka 7mm rm shoots almost as good I just don't shoot it as much

I don’t have a picture but my best 3 shot group with my T3 6.5x55 was 0.192”. That was with factory Nosler custom 140 accubonds.

Ya it's pretty impressive for a stock lightweight hunting rig. These are with lapua scenars so not exactly hunting ammo but it shoots premium 165's almost as well

Varmint model is a heavy barrel.

Yup it is, it’s purpose for me is hunting. I punishing myself by running heavy barrels for hunting.

Notice that no one, including me, posts 2 inch Remington Core-Lokt 5 shots groups!
Ammunition quality makes a huge difference and am always amazed by Federal Gold Medal group size.
