A few years ago I realized that I had more than a couple of handguns that had sights that I did not particularly like.
So I went and ordered a bunch of Fiber Optic sights and some night sights and some of those cool High Viz ones with tritium in them so I could hang with the cold kids when at the range.
you get the picture, I had a lot of sights to replace.
after my first attempt to drift out a sight with a brass punch I said bugger that and I went and picked up one of those fancy Wheeler Sight Pusher tools and it worked LIKE A CHARM!
did up all my pistols in a afternoon and loved life!
even took the sight pusher to the range a couple times to fine tune my sights.
couple years have gone by and my dad was talking to me on the phone and he was saying that he had a couple pistols that he needed to move the sights on, so I told him about my Wheeler sight pusher and as we talked he looked it up on Amazon and found a knock off one for under $50.
i told him not to buy it, my Wheeler one cost me almost $400 and it was worth it and I did not want to see my poor old dad get fleeced by some cheap import piece of junk.
so he decided to wait until he comes up to visit me next and he will borrow my pusher.
that night I lay in bed and I could not help buy think that maybe "I" had been fleeced by Wheeler when I paid big bucks for my sight pusher?
but how would I ever know?
so I creeped off to the bathroom and opened the Amazon App and sure enough there was the knock off sight pusher.... they even had the balls to make it the same colour as the 'real' sight pusher!
so I ordered one.
I had to!
I had to know if I saved my dad or if I got robbed.
it arrived and as soon as I picked up the box from the post office I knew I was in trouble.
the box was HEAVY!
this sight pusher was solid!
so I placed them both side by side and compared..... bugger!
they are identical!
So I thought id be nice and come in here and save you guys some money.
$49 on Amazon for this, only 2 real differences between it and the Wheeler on, the paint is sparkly and the numbers painted on are kinda hard to see.
but you don't really use the numbers when doing it anyways.
save yourself $300.

and I gave my dad the one I ordered from Amazon so we both have one now.
