First question, is there a NRL Hunter match near you or will you be attending one? No point building a rifle for a discipline that pretty much doesn't exist in Canada.

Won this Defiance anti-x in the first year of the willow creek washout. 20 dollars got you 5 shots at 1 mile. Four people hit the target, I was lucky enough to get my ticket drawn

Sends 140 gr bergers at 3100. 58 gr of h4831sc, slightest ejector mark on brass. Will drop it a grain to lose that.

Not sure if we will have NRL comps in our country but experimenting with a rifle anyway. As is she will make the open light weight limit easily. Stock only 800gr ~28oz and 20" Carbon barrel. Power factor with the 6.5CM is on the limit and a 24-26" barrel would help which would be easy to change.

Schmidt & Bender guys came over to us with their new Meta scopes in FFP which are strongly directed to NRL. Two reticles choices that are both very useable. Scope is much lighter than most PRS type scopes and also only use 42mm Objective. In many cases the weight saving is not needed however I also think we will either see an additional lower weight class or the trend might go to using heavier longer barrels saving weight in optics and stocks. A tendency also seen in FTR.
The left T3 rifle has a 22" Proof Sendero Carbon Barrel in 6.5CM weighing around 3kg with the 700 gram stock. Arca rail is from Salmon River Solutions and very light. With the Meta weighing under 800grams one would have a good margin to fit a heavier longer conventional match barrel to make up the weight limit.
