Hi folks,

Just started a thread in the "Events" section. I'm taking a few Enfields to the range this Saturday (Nov. 29). Likely my recently refurbed No1 Mk3* (dated 1917), maybe my Jungle Carbine (kind of looks like a safe queen but let's keep her busy), And why not my No4 Mk2, it hasn't been shooting for about 6 months so she's due.

My bro will also bring his No4 Mk1, he'll try to adjust the sights to hit paper :)

Hi folks,

Had a great time today in Stittsville; got there with Sly_Old_Fox, plus my brother and a good buddy. We met with Vimy_Ridge at the rifle range, that man has too many Enfields, most of them LongBranches :D

Here's my buddy with a No1 Mk3 that I refurbed for him a few months ago. The rifling is perfect and it is a 1919 Lithgow, it shoots like a dream - better than any of my Enfields. (Maybe Joe is a better shot than I am, that's also very possible). I hope he'll find the time to drop by at the Milsurp Shoot at the EOHC...

Nice pics, if I wasn't in the middle of mid-term exams, I would have loved to have brought my P-14's and my No.4 down for the day.

Looks like you guys had fun.
 
It was great day! Thanks again for the open invitation Lou. We'll definitely have to do it again soon.
Hopefully we can round up some more guys next time.

Also, I suggest doing a group Mad Minute with as many Enfields going at the same time as we can get!!! :rockOn:

Cyclone, the Stittsville range is in Ontario, about 15 minutes West from Ottawa. Just a hop across the Ottawa river for me though.

I end up at that range about 2 or 3 times a year on average. Reasonable fee for guests and it's often open (more than other local ranges).
