Let's see some pics of your Pimped out Troy PAR



Leupold VX6 1-6 with Troy folding sights, installed a match trigger, will be changing the stock & pistol grip out later.

How has the experience been with them so far? I've heard some people say the action is smooth and it works great, while others claim that it needs to be soaked in gun oil for it to cycle properly.
 
I have just purchased a lightly used .308 Troy PAR and will be watching this thread for ideas. It is currently in transit, so I have not even seen or handled one yet. The main modifications that interest me are:

* Trigger - I have a RRA 2 stage on my AR-15 that I reallly like and am used to, so would like to replicate it on the PAR
* Bipod - It seems that a bipod would be better than a bag or rest for a pump action - I'm curious what the mounting options are, since there does not appear to be much lower rail space forward of the pump mechanism.
* Stock - I really don't care for the Troy stock, I think the Magpul UBR would look great on this rifle but don't like the price. Maybe an STR
* Pistol Grip - The Magpul MIAD fits my hand very well, I have it on my AR-15 and SR-22, so this is probably the way I will go.
* Scope/Mount - I have a spare Sightron 4-12x that will get installed for now, not sure what optic to go with long term. I have had good luck with Burris PEPR mounts, so will probably stick with that or a similar mount.

That was going to be another question which is what mount to use. I was having a looking at the PEPR they look ok, do they hold zero good. As for bipods apparently there's just enough room for a Harris.

They seem pretty much ready to roll out of the box, what are the major "need" for upgrade people see?
I would probably just mount optics and shoot if I have one.

Just like an AR They are ready right out of the box, however who leaves any firearm as is?
 
No one has these in stock eh? Only special order from rampart or order through IRG? I dropped out of the pre-order but still would like a .308 at some point :)
