Lets see some real nice groups shot bye members and friends post them here

Just over a minute. The black egg is about an inch wide, shot at just over 100 meters.
Tight ball of a kneeling position, sitting on the flat of my right foot, bean bag (toe bag) on the left support knee, rifle fore end on the bag, arms cradling the rifle.

The best one I’ve shot in a while. My straight out of the box Pre ‘64 M70 in 300 H&H, 5 shots @ 100m with a spotless clean cold bore. The two flyers were the first and second shot.

Group shooting is not about hitting a particular point on the paper. You do notn want your group hitting and distorting the aiming point.

3 shot groups are a good indication of the accuracy potential of the shooter and the rifle. If you can't shoot a good 3 shot group, you certainly won't shoot better 5 shot groups. I do not believe there are any competitions using 3 shot groups.

5 five shot groups averaged over a period of time are a much better indication of the rifle and the shooter.

3 shot test groups have been common since before I started shooting centerfire rifles in the 50's.

Three on the right were foulers post barrel cleaning (about every 60 - 80 rounds). Ragged hole on left is three taking my time. 100m fairly calm winds (for AB). 7mm-08 140 gr accubond over RL 17 @ 2860 fps. About a 15 yr old trued 700 action with a 24" #2 contour Jury barrel in a Wildcat stock. A made in Alberta hunting rifle by Bob Galloway. Nice laser that's taken a lot of critters.

didn't take enough ammo today, so by the time I got to 700 meters I only had a few rounds left.
Shot with sling'n'irons.
The ghosted rounds were the first ones, then I made a sight correction and dropped the last 5 where they should be.
C.I.L. 950T action with a prototype stock,308, Bob Jury barrel, chambering by Paul Cook of PR Precision.
168ELDM bullets, 43 grains of H4895 powder.
Should have brought more ammo! LOL
