I recognize that boer Mauser as one I had in my collection a few years back.Only two for me, but I'll add 'em to the very, very lovely list of long Mausers being shown off here.
First is an OVS "Boer" Mauser, personalized by the burgher who carried it during that conflict. A bolt m/m.

Next is an '06 DWM Gew, another bolt m/m, and a sanded stock unfortunately, but I'm still pretty happy to have it.

Mine's also dated 1931.
So Turk Mausers in 7.65X53 are scarce? Mine's a M1893.
I guess the M1887 is even more scarce.
When did Turk Mausers become anything but something at which to scoff? I guess the Carcano will have its day as it deserves.
