If there's a dedicated thread for MDI pron I didn't see it.
Here's mine. Pretty basic build with a BCL 5.56 barrel, Brownells shorty flash hider, Faxon BCG, Meprolight M21, and Falkor Defense buttstock.
I went with a PDW stock just to save storage space. The Falkor Optimus is the only PDW stock I have seen that will fit the MDI SLR because the receiver body is slightly too wide for traditional twin-rod stock options. The Falkor has a single rod system. It's heavy for a PDW stock and the Meprolight is also heavy, so the overall unloaded weight of this gun with optic is 8.4lbs. But I think the relatively heavy stock makes for better balance to offset all that barrel.
So far no issues. Took it on a quick trip to the range just to make sure it wouldn't explode in my hands (it didn't). I still need to take the time to properly sight it in.
One change I am going to make is adding a Magpul MOE pistol grip. I plan on converting the MOE storage core into an integrated 3/16" hex wrench so I always have the tool to split the receiver halves.
