Alrighty, trying to get my ducks in a row for slug making.

i am interested in doing up some roll crimp loads.

Any decent roll crimpers out of Canada????

Anybody have plans for home made roll crimpers??

Haven't used them for slugs, but the old fashioned hand crank crimpers work well for a shot load with top wad. Should work for slug loads.

If you don't have one of the old style, I can lend you one to use while you copy it or find another. I would give you one if I had a spare, but it's a family item passed down a few generations. As long as you don't keep it for years lol.

I got a great one that works on my drill press. Try Henry at Budget shooter supply.
Not the cheapest but does a great job and is faster than hand cranking.

Well sir I do appreciate the offer. I am not much of a lender of tools and likewise tend to shy away from borrowing from others. if you ever care to pop in with crimper in hand so that I can take measurements i am sure I can supply a meal and a beer or two. :)

I understand, I lend but don't borrow lol.

If I ever make the 20 hour trip I'll pop in, how's that! :). Offer stands regardless.

I thought I was alone in this stance :)

I have the BPI roller and it works well, had it shipped to the boarder with some other items. I made my own OS cards with a cheap punch off ebay and my kids crazy carpet. They work nice. Only made a few rounds so far as I need to make a jig to cut the hulls nicer/faster.

Almost there...played with it a bit while it was still chucked up in the lathe. Used my tail stock to push the the case into the roll crimper. Will have to put the pin in this week end

I got mine from Will Bilozir who sells BPI products. Care to share your load data for the roll crimping?
I've got 4 different slug molds yet still cannot find a recipe for using Win AA hulls.
