I currently have a cheapy Hornady $40 scale. I have been able to reload some pretty accurate rounds for my rifles, however I'm getting fed up with it always creeping and having to recalibrate it.

I'm thinking of getting a gempro 250, I reload for accuracy not quantity, so I'd like something that will give consistent readings.

I'd like to stay away from auto metering scales. Any advice?

AND FX 120i unfortunately their prices have gone up a fair bit this past year, was $400 when I got mine, over $700 now... maybe there's other nice options in that price range.

Gempro at that pricepoint. The fx120i is much better but 700$.
Gempro is ok if you use it with a few tricks. See my other thread.

I picked up a GemPro 250 off Ebay out of the US (couldn't find one anywhere in stock in Canada) for just under $200 - exchange, shipping, duties included. They might be a touch more expensive now, given the poor exchange rate...

I bought a package of cheap line filters off amazon, keep the electrical interference sources as far away as possible, leave it plugged in and ON all the time (no warm-up) and try not to breathe too heavily in the direction of the scale when I'm using it. My only issue is that it will drift - very slightly - if I leave a powder charge in the scale pan on the scale for more than a minute or so. As this rarely happens, it's not that big of a deal.

It keeps my .223 powder charges accurate to within an individual kernel of Varget - which is so much more accurate than the hack driving my rifle, it's not even funny...
