I want to set-up my CanAm shorty in a Doc stock but I just can't just picture witch one I should get him to do. So I was wondering if some CGNer's out there could help me out with some pic's of there stocks so I could see witch one I should get.
So please tell me witch 1 you got and what you like/dis-like about it.

I dont own one of his stocks :( but I would get the M14SA2 hunter if it was my money, IIRC he mentioned awhile ago on here that he was bringing out a new stock based on the USGI fiberglass dimensions and I would really like to see that one.

Thanks chalkriver you just made it that much hadder to dieced witch stock to get. Anyone out there that ownes this M14SA2 hunter would like to chime in about it? Also I keep on thinking about that CQB stock on the shorty to and I am torn cause I think it would look bad @$$ with a magpul PRS stock on it.

The new M14SE2 stocks are now in production and the first 12 are shipping out early next week. This modern , composite reproduction of the M14 E2 stock is going to be a big hit. I already have several US FFl dealers/M1A builders chompin at the bit for these fast handling full length pistol grip stocks.
Doing photos this week and will post some up as soon as I can. Gonna make you decision that much harder Satain :D

The "usgi' clone stocks will be ready mid february. You will also have the choice of a stock that accepts the metal stock liner OR the standard no stock liner required versions.
I have reliable employees working on stocks now and production will be picking up in the new year

Here is mine, one of the first I think. I actually like the shorty in the usgi, and the 22" in the other.

What's the target price for the GI clone stocks? Will they be checkered the same as the originals?

Pricing and details of the standard profile stocks will be released when I am ready to release the stocks to the public.

LOL , the single malt I can't help you with :D
But the stock with sling studs, bipod stud or bipod rail, grip and buttpad is 569.00
This is a "no cheek riser needed" rifle stock. Cheekweld height is maximized for irons and optics. Shouldering the M14 in this stock is a fast, fluid action that naturally puts your eye on the irons the second cheek weld is established. Of all my stocks, this one is my personal favorite for balance and field ergonomics. Taking orders for the next batch of 12 ;)

My M-14 DOC Masterpiece

Hey there SATAIN, I hope this helps your decision. This combo seems to be the best of all worlds. Now that this baby is running like a champ, I feel it is time to put her in the blast cabinet and get her re parkerized. Too many different finishes on the metal right now.

It is an Ingram Custom Rifleworks, M14S-CQB in OD/Black Tiger finish.... Made in my shop. Mustangfrank can fill you in on how he has accessorized the stock.

Beautiful rifle Mustang Frank! Congratulations for your project.
Why do you match a precision stock with a red-dot? Balance-wise a UBR stock must have a similar weight. Do you have a scout scope in ARMS rings so you can quickly swap optics?

Gun Details

which stock is this?

The main part is the CQB mentioned. The back part is MAGPUL PRS. There is an angled foregrip from magpul which I am on the fence about. I have a UTG tri rail without the side rails( too bulky). I then covered the remaining rails with magpull rail cover thingies in three colours. Can't remember the name. Oh yes, the magpul MAID grip all on O.D. colour. I put an Aimpoint sight on for now. I am waiting for the McGowan barrels to arrive so I can build a second rifle with a scope for longer range stuff. It is my fun gun, so I haven't gotten too serious about the accuracy. I don't even know how good it will shoot now that I have it working. My other guns are the tack drivers.

Thanks! The Aimpoint is a quick release, and I can lower the cheek piece to use the irons. I am still looking for a proper scope mount, so the red dot is fine for 100 yds or so. I am definitely not finished with it yet.

Here's a recent pic with all three of the Ingram Custom Rifleworks M14/M1A custom rifle stocks. The standard forstock M14SA2 Hunter Tactical, fully equiped M14S-CQB and the new M14SE2.
Enjoy ;)
