Hello All,
I've got a Savage fp I'm wanting to mount the falcon menace 4-14x44mm on.
I'm using the leupold std. 2pc base set
The scope will clear in front, but the zoom ring will scrape the rear mount.
Also I'd like it mounted back a little further.
It looks like everything would line up just right if I swapped the front and rear bases, the height should be the same, but the windage adjustment screws will be up front...
Anybody see why this wouldn't work? Anyone tried this?
