Leupold Alumina Flip-Back Lens Covers opinion?

I was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on the Leupold Alumina Flip-Back Lens Covers. How do they mount? Do you have to take the scope off to spin them on? Thanks for your input...P

They screw into the bells of the leupold scopes. Very good quality. Not cheap, but worth it. Can be installed with the scope mounted.

Thanks for the quick reply Gorky. The reason I ask is because my scope is low mounted and I have little room to spin anything on - like 3/32. My only other option would be the Butler Creek flips but after buying a set of them I found that they wont clear the barrel. =[

I have them on all my scopes, great product. Some I had to remove the scope to install but thats a minor inconvenience IMO.

Might have to remove the scope to install , depends on scope.

I wrap electric tape around them so they don't rotate.

They work well.

Excellent product, not sure why all manufacturers don't make them.
