Leupold American marksmen

Recently seen a leupold American marksmen for sale and considering buying it…. I can’t seem to find much information on it so if anyone would have some insight it would be appreciated thanks in advance
 
Entry level toe uphold like the Rifleman series.

I've got no complaints about mine.

I believe the Reticle on mine is named the Wind-Plex".
Simple Reticle, works well.
 
I have a Marksman 3-9x40, bought it on sale a few years back for $300. Great scope, clear optics, well worth the money. If I had to knit pick it would be kind of mushy turret adjustments but that holds true for the Freedom series as well, have one of those too. Have not had a problem with it holding zero.

Yes I have noticed the mushy turrets... I have a 3-9 weaver as well the turrets are better but the glass is no where near the same especially when the sun goes down
