Once question you need to consider is what will you be using them for. I'm a Vortex fan and have 6 of them but I've also used Leupold and both are good scopes. However if you are thinking of using these scopes for hunting deer or moose then 4 power for the lowest setting is in 80% of the time too much for hunting in Ontario bush. If you are field hunting then you might be fine but you should always run with your scope on the lowest power and shoot at that power unless you have time to power up. Hitting/ making a good lethal shot on a moving deer on 4 power is pretty hard even for those with lots of experience. Even 3 power which has been used for years on 3-9 power scopes is too much in some cases. So if these are your only two choices then I'd go Leupold even though I'm a Vortex Fan. For our camp who shoot alot, we all run either 2 -7 power scopes set at 2 power or like I have on one bush carbine for close 75 yards and under a 1.75 -5 power. Not too often do we miss or wound deer running these scopes on the lowest power and probably 90% of the deer we shoot are shot on the lowest power. Just food for thought if you are choosing a scope. (On a side note. If you accidently damage or break your a Vortex, they fix or replace it free of charge. Lifetime unlimited warranty and they are in Guelph, ON. So quick turn around time.)
