I am thinking of buying a new set of binos. I have been looking at the Leupold switch power 10x42. Just wondering what you all think of them and if you have tried them in the field?

I spent about a year and a half looking for different bino's. I looked at Leica, Zeiss, Vortex, Bushnell and Sarvo before settling on my 8x42 HD Leupolds. I liked the glass, the way the fit my eyes and the weight did not bother me. In the two years I have had them, I got to re compare them to Zeiss and Swarvo's while guiding and I did not make a mistake on my choice.

Here is short review I did on them. I know they are not switch power, but it might be able to help you a little in your choice.

Good luck on your hunt for bino's.

You really do need to go and see for yourself which bino's fit you the best. They all have their little things that will fit you better than X brand, so have some fun and spend some time looking through different ones.

Cheers
