Leupold CDS system,only at highest power?

Could someone tell me if Leupold's CDS system works only at the highest power setting of the variable scope, like their Boone&Crockett reticle or does it work through the entire range of magnification? Thanks!

Power setting has nothing to do with it, just the accuracy of the tracking and the data entered for the dial.

In practice it always seems like if I'm useing the dial it's at the highest setting, but it does need to be.
