Leupold CDS turret caps. Do they work?

Anybody using the CDS caps? What cal, and do you like them?

I have a set for elevation for 7mm Rem mag, and I think it is pretty good, using a Nosler 160 gr accubond bullet.

How easy are they to rig up? Does your scope have to be sent away or can you do it yourself?

Ive got the CDS scope on my .280 rem 170 gr bullets and it works real well. You fill out a form and send it to your dealer. they then get the dial made up according to your specs. You just take to original dial off, put the new dial on and sight it in as you normally would...I belive my dial came with an instruction sheet, but it is that easy!

The CDS cap goes on with 3 Allen screws, the same screws used for zeroing the scale.
If you wanted to convert a scope to the system you would have to sent it in.
