I have a Freedom 1-4X20 with the Hogplex reticle. I bought a couple of them at Canadian Tire for $297 each. I figured, awesome price for a couple of rimfire.

I was surprised at the quality. Clarity on the glass is comparable to the VX3 lines but in the VX2 bodies. Beautifully clear and crisp. They maintain a zero. I keep one atop a 223 as a coyote and fox rig. I keep the other as a spare for my 375.

i had 2 of them not rimfire but with the pigplex and no the lenses are not clearer than my vx3s or vx3i with german 4 otherwise i will have keep them. they re great scope but do not tell what they re not ...

Sorry to hear you are not as pleased as I am with the scopes. Although most of my scopes are Swarovski, I still have a selection of VXII, VX2, VXIII, VX3, Mark 2, Mark AR, and Mark 4, and these Freedoms are every bit as clear as my higher end IIIs and 3s.

do not. our vision is different. i noticed for me with a german 4 or 1 the scope are better that s why i tried the pig plex but so far was not impressed: lucky with the choices we have today all can be please.
btw the bushnell 1-4x24 with german 4 and illum reticle did very well against it but more wieght and 30mm rings needed.

Have one on order in 2-7x33mm. Will give my opinion on it next week.

Have three Freedoms, with another on the way. For the money you just can’t beat them. As mentioned, the clicks are a bit mushy, but they seem to hold zero just fine.
