I have seen a few old reviews. The positives were good eye relief, waterproof, compact and optical resolution and contrast ok.
But the optical system uses one (or 2?) surface coated mirrors which are not well regarded in general by optics snobs because of the amount of light they absorb and I guess some concern over their precision. Leupold claims that in fact the system is ‘capable’ of very high fidelity. Apparently they are issued to US rifle ‘teams’ in a milrad version ... I havent looked through one of these
