Leupold M8 6x Opinions?

I used an M8 6x42 for years on a Tikka heavy barrel 7.62
Really nice clear scope that shot great out to about 400 meters.
The scope was about $300 new in the early '90's.
I would think in decent used shape it's probably worth $200 today.
There may be some dealers with New Old Stock that would probably want more than $300 for a new one? Cheers Paul

Fixed power M8 6x42, on my .222 Remington rifle.
It's been on that rifle since 1988. Pulled off some really great shots on varmints.
Although this is a relatively light recoiling rifle/cartridge combo, I have absolutely no complaints with this Leupold scope! Lots of eye relief, good clear glass, & no forgetting to turn down the magnification ring.
