Id like to know who would carry this model for a reasonable price. If im not suppose to be posting in here, I apologies. Its a big purchase. Its for a Tikka T3 - .308

Is it overkill?

Maybe someone who would throw me a little love.

I gather you live in Quebec? That magnification range is fine if you intend on shooting longer distances at targets: Even close distance target shooting, an ideal magnification falls in that bracket. In Ontario I know that Elwood Epps carries those telescopes: Link to their website is in the advertisement bar above. I'm sure there would be other Leopold dealers but you'll have to check out their respective websites.

Unless Leopold has broadened the reticle lineup, then you have only two choices in reticles: Having used the other, I would be inclined toward purchasing the scope fitted with the TMR reticle. As to "price" and "reasonable" in the same sentence: It depends on how you define that. If memory serves me correctly, the telescope you seek will cost just under $2,000.
 
Im in Saskabush. I am just looking for a long range toy for playing with. (although it is not toy!) but I have always want to customized my own little long system.
