Hello,

I'm looking to scope another 11.5 upper, but don't have the beans for a Short Dot . The Nightforce and Leupold look like the top competitors for this, but I've got a Leupold dealer locally. Will the 1.5-5 work on an 11.5 upper? For three gun use, long and short targets. Perhaps someone can shed some light on this.

I just got this exact same scope in the mail today, mounting it on a 16" upper..... don;t see why it would not work on the 11.5" flattop.

I have the 1.5 - 5 Mark 4 M/RT with the ARMS #35QD base & Medium rings.

I use it on a 10.5" upper and on a 20" SPR upper.

At the lowest setting, I can see the shadow of the front sight tower in the bottom of the field of view. This doesn't really bother me and the shadow goes away as the power is increase.

I bought this scope as my service rifle scope and so far it works great out to 200 meters.I really like the Illuminated SPR reticle and the low turrets. The elevation turret also has a stop so that when you dial down, when the turret stops, that is zero.

Wes, great minds think alike eh?????;) :D :p

and I am using Larue 1.50 SPR mount on mine with troy ind. BUIS, fold down front and rear. on an Armalite AR15T carbine.

I would go with the arms if it is going on multiple rifles because of the arms bases are the same, where some flattop's have different standards to the pictanney rail.

if it was only going on one rifle, get the larue ;)

Just got it mounted and boresighted, here is some eye candy for you... I don;t think you can go wrong with this scope, it is awesome.

Just got a couple of the Leupold Mk 4 1.5-5X20 MR/T's coming in. Should be in by end of week or monday..$1165.00. These have been hard to keep in stock since the CQ/T was banned from export.
