Leupold MR/T 1.5-5x scope

Great scope, depending on your need and application.

I wouldn't use it on my work guns, but some guys like them. I'd prefer the magnification go right down to 1 for close in work, but some guys don't mind the 1.5. The illuminated SPR reticle is really nice. If you're looking for something on an AR or Swiss Arms or any black/green type rifle for range work or tac rifle matches, I think you'd be very happy.

I currently have one on my hunting 10/22. It's an awesome scope for close in, and further shots with the 22. And the illuminated reticle is nice when the light goes down a little.

It's going to be for sale soon. I'm going to try something else on the gun.
Let me know if you're interested.

I have 1 mounted on my AR I use for Service Rifle matches they are a great scope I don't mind the 1.5 magnifaction but like WP stated some shooters may find the 1.5 hard to get used to

I had one on my Green Classic Service Rifle set up..............liked it a lot........especially the reticle.............Only sold it as I got out of shooting Service Rifle............

SKBY.

I have an aimpoint currently on my AR but I want a scope for midrange work. I do plan on doing some service rifle shoots but I dont want to be switching between scopes either. The short dot is way to expensive and Im sure with practice I can get use to shooting 1.5x at close range.

I agree..... The short dots are a little too rich for my blood as well.

As has been said, you'll most likely be very happy with one if you get it.

And like I said, I'll have one for sale in the near future... ;)

I tested a rifle for work that had one on it. A great intermediate range scope. The rig was a M700 LTR in 308...great for man sized targets out to 300 (maybe more but that's as far as I shot it).

Hey BUM.
I was at TPOF last spring when they got the first LTR's in for testing. You sure it was a MK4? Poaps said they were going to go with something like the MK2. It was at least a few hundred cheaper than the MK4, and for the application, was all he felt was really needed.

I've gotten some really nice groups with mine. Only had it to 200m, but I've been able to have a couple touching before i screw it up. Still able to keep the groups well under 2".

That's not with the MR/T though, Nightforce NXS 5.5-22 - 56mm. :D
