Leupold PRW vs Burris Zee

I rummaged around in my junk and found a low set of Burris Zee's. It looks like they sit 0.120 above the top of the base. Does anyone have a set of low PRW's they can throw a caliper on?

Thanks a bunch.

Chuck, I'll see if I can remember to check tonight. The PRW's are significantly higher, and heavier, but I can't rermember how much. The other thing to remember is you can get Burris Zee's in extra low, if low and light is what you're looking for. I've got them mounting a Vari-x11 2x-7x on a M70 Classic featherweight, and they're fantastic.

Thanks guys.

I'm trying to get a low mount on a picatinny rail and oh man that's a tough one. I do have a set of the zee's in super low as well but am worried the power selector ring won't clear the rail with that set up.

I'm thinking DD lows is where I'm heading.

its not a big deal to knock the rear part of a weaver/pic rail down to clear an objective ring

yup- .250-.260 rail to bottom of scope. They are heavy mothers though.

I like the idea of trimming the back end of the rail to clear the ring- wouldn't need to be much.

I may give that a try. However, I'm having a hard time getting my Burris Zee rings on my TPS rail.

Are you sure the PRWs fit on a picantinny rail?

Something tells me they don't?
