Leupold Repair?

Gidday all,

Well, I hauled out my Vari-X III the other day, and discovered that the elevation drum has a minor problem with it, the vernier ring below the elevation knob is loose. It slid up underneat the elevation knob....this seems...bad....to me.

So, my question is thus. Do I send the scope to the address listed in the message above for leupy warranty work? (this scope is LONG past it's warranty time...)

And, how much do they charge, while they're fixing that for me, to put in a mil-dot reticule for me, to replace the current duplex reticule?

A Leupold is never past its warranty period, check out the sticky at the top of the forum for Korths contact info. 2 week turn around, more or less.
I don't know the price of a mil-dot reticle, I did check on a B&C once and it was $247 IIRC. A mildot should be a lot less.

Leupold has no time limit on warranty. Mildots will cost about $200 to have installed. Phil.
