we all know about the land of midnight that a few of us live. i tried tonight a recently purchased vari x III MC4 coated with a reticle 1 and cannot believe my eyes...
i still can see well the reticle and the surrounding even at 8 while a close to new vx3 with a reticle duplex plain jane i cannot see it properly and will not be able to shoot if needed.
i used reticle 1 and 4 on high seat for wild boars at night but i cant believe how the difference it can make with older lenses ...
just woow ...
will try tomorrow with different optics.
ps i have to add this is not scientific but just my own observations.
