Got a Remington BDL with iron sights. Want to leave the irons on, what ring height medium or high so that the front doesn't obstruct my view. Scope is Leupold M8 4x36mm mounts will be Leupold standard two piece. Leupold online recommends the mid height however I'm thing high, not sure of cheek weld etc.

Not the solution for everybody, but what I do is have cheap rings of different heights to help me set up guns perfectly for myself.
I do not use the cheap rings on my guns. Their only job is to try different heights. Basically tools. When I find what I want with that particular setup I buy higher quality that height.
