So I just recieved a new scope from Korth Group (they replaced my previous Leupold due to some issues with it, i am very happy with their quick service) with a note that something appeared "crooked" on my setup.
So i went to work to install the new scope and noticed a major issue. When i tighten the windage screws on rear base, it knocks the ring off "square" to the base. Upon closer inspection of the rings, they appear to be quite "deformed" where the windage screw holds it. Im pretty pissed. When I initially got this gun, I had no experience with scope mounting and thus took it to a smith. Obviously he hadnt a clue WTF he was doing either (ive since installed three scopes without any issues myself)
Ive basically decided im gonna throw these bases/rings away and buy something else, unless someone here can think of anything that I can do.
