I have a Savage 210 bolt action 12 gauge rifled slug gun. I want to scope it... and I thought the Leupold Ultimate Slam in 3x9-40mm with the SA.B.R reticle would be a sweet choice given the reputation of this guns accuracy. Does anyone own one and can you share some info? The website tells the basics.... but im starting to think its better suited to a muzzleloader... even though it says its intended for both. I want to stick with Leupold. Hopefully can decide by the weekend :(

if you can try one of their 1.5-5x20'. you may find it gives you a much wider field of view, better eye relieve is smaller and gives you all the magnification you need. Plus is most cases you would be able to shoot with bothe eyes open easily making it much faster to acquire your target throught your scope, Your scope might be excellent just saying there may be one a bit better.

I was debating the VX-I 1x4-20mm, but im really excited to try the SA.B.R. reticle, and have some fun range sessions !
