At the 2018 Calgary show, I bought two used scopes at the Korth booth for a really good price. One is the above noted. I put it on a new "Bushman Special" 455, sighted in at our indoor range. I took it on my marathon gopher shoot, tweaked it a bit for outdoor ranges, and fired away. Although it has rather coarse cross hairs and a funny circle, it performed just fine. I set it at 4x. I just looked that scope up on the Leupold site, and found the US price to be $520!! It is no longer sold.

Think its been replaced by the freedom ultimateslam. S.A.B.R reticle still available. $520 seems high. Since they've been discontinued I've seen them in Canada around $400

That's what was on the Leupold site. I paid $100 each for the scopes. :d

Glad to hear your optics are working well!

For those interested, the factory parallax setting on Leupold scopes is 150 yards. However, the shotgun/muzzle loader optics are set to be parallax free at 75 yards, which will work well on a rimfire.

Good scopes. Like a vx2 with the shotgun muzzle loader reticle. Good find!

Precisely - the Ultimate Slam is a VX-2.

This is correct. The new Freedom optics are less expensive than their predecessor. As technology advances, quality is improving, while the price is less.
