had korth put target turrents on it and they did a great job, but when talking to the tech guy on the phone i had asked him how much moa was built into this scope he said it only had about 20 inchs of movement at 100 yards!
i said the new vx111 had 50 according to the brochure and said no it also has about 20moa in it as well? does anyone know?
shouldnt be that much difference!
 
Maybe 20 each way for a total of 40.

Leupold website does say 50moa for that scope... but you WOULD think the warranty guys would know? I still think 20 is waaaay low.
 
Check

You can check how much MOA your scope has yourself. It's easier if you have target turrets. Just mark your rotations down and then back to the top. I have a new VX-III EFR 6.5-20x40 that is only listed as having 50 MOA but I have already checked it and I'm topping out at 68 MOA. Mind you this is also at dead center of scope, as in no windage used.

well i cranked my scope turrent all the way down and then counted to the top and i got 65 moa, but i also realize that all those clicks wont be movement! that still alot more than 20 inches!!
