Hey all

Getting back into shooting after a long absence and looking to outfit my new Rem 700 5R with a tactical scope (Falcon, Millet or something). But I also have a Rem 700 VSSF in .223 with a Leo 6.5X20 as listed above. Question is...I am thinking of selling the Leo and buying another scope again like a Falcon or Millet, or SS for the .223. My Leo is probably over 10 yrs old but very good condition (its been sitting on my .223 for all this time).

Any idea what a fair price to ask for it is?

Hmmm...not sure about that. What can be done about the parallax adjustment. Mine is on the front bell of the scope. Can it be set up so all three turrets are in the middle so it ends up looking like the tactical scopes?

Good call! I just bought one last year, used, perfect optics and 1 very minor scuff on it for $575.00. It was a 50mm too!

You can't change to a side focus, but you can put target turrets on if you don't have them already. If the side parallax is what you're after there's ways of getting that without going downhill on your scopes. I've got 5 side focus scopes, and they all hang on Leupolds. Opps, make that 6.

You should be able to get $400 for your scope, prices have come down, and the used follow or don't sell.
