Leupold VX-3 4.5-14x40mm Scope on a Remington 7mm Rem Mag

Ive got them on a 220 Swift, a 257 Wby, and a 264 WM.

my 7 Mag has a 3.5-10 on it.

Can't go wrong with either IMHO

This scope is the LR model with side focus what about adding a set of custom CDS turrets to it for the 160 grain bullets that I shoot with it?

I've got a few of those too.:) For a big-game rifle that might get used for longrange coyotes, or rodents, or longrange target shooting, or longrange hunting, or endless load developement they have some merit. An AO just isn't necessary for a big game scope at this power level.

I view the 4.5-14 VX3 LR as a great coyote and varmint scope, and a useable big game scope for the guy that likes messing with things. A CDS dial certainly fits into the "messing with things" category. So would a set of M1 or target turrets.
