After zeroing a vx-3i, can you reset the adjustment to zero ? It said in the book that you can by pulling up on the knob, but I tried it, and couldn't budge it... didn't dare to pull too hard.

A quick look at Leupold's site shows an awful variation in the models available under that general heading, so maybe you could narrow it down just a ...wee bit. Like, actual model.
You may have to remove a screw and rotate the dial. Reinstall the screw, etc.

Actually, I thought I did put it in the optics area... my bad.
It's a vx-3i 3.5-10x40, and just has the plastic dials under the caps... no slots, or screws of any kind under there.
