Leupold VX-I 2-7x33 VS VX-II 2-7x28?

What's a better choice between the two? The VX-I with a 33mm is a bigger objective, but the VX-II in 28mm is better glass. Function would be on a centerfire, used for target shooting and perhaps hunting.

Not a huge difference as you can imagine.

for the $ value i would go for the 33mm. even in 40mm not a huge difference in vx1 or vx11 but the click adjusters are nicer in the vx11 line.

Why not go VXII 2-7X33....no need for the 28mm bell. As said VXII adjustments are miles ahead of the VXI...but if you don't play with them much it doesn't really matter
