leupold vx-I vs bushnell elite 3200

without a doubt, i will be getting one of my 2 choices, all i was saying was the zeiss was crazy clear.
it is definately out of my price range!

I have had B&L elite 3000 ,Bushnell 3200 and 4200 and also Vari X-II and Vari X-III they all are good scopes. For clarity and warrenty the Vari X-III wins hands down . I find Eye relief to be a big issue when buying a scope. So, I use Leupold VX-II and VX-III on my magnum rifles that have heavy recoil as well as some of my Marlin lever 45-70 and .444
Leupold I find on average to be a smaller & lighter scope compared to bushnells. On the other hand, I also love my Bushnell 4200 2.5-10X40 that I have on my .257 Roberts and on my Remington 700 Mountain rifle in .243 Rainguard works like a charm. They are all good scopes. Some may fit a specific use on a rifle better than the next. IE: size of the scope, wieght, eye relief, feild of view, oh ya! price!!! depends what you want to use the rifle for. All said and done, I would hunt with iether Bushnell or Leupold. If I could only have one scope for the type of hunting I do? It would be the VXIII 1.5-5X20 mm awesome scope. I need one more for my 7600 35 whelen. Take care all you GUNNUTZ! Tikka
