leupold VXII 6-18X40mm Parallax adjustment?

I'm thinking about this scope for some rimfire shooting up to about 125 yards. I've got a cz 452 varmint on the way on plan on using it for both bench rest shooting as well as some silhouette.

This scope will be great optic wise but on the luepold website it says that the parallax adjustment only goes down to 50 yards, or should I say the first written scale mark is 50 yards. So will this scope adjust down to 20 yards for silhouette??? If it doesn't I'm not interested.

The AO on my VX-II 4-12x40 has the closest setting of 25yds. The ring turns a bit past this and is good for 20yd shooting. I use it regularly in club competitions at 20 (& 50) yds.

I'd think the 6-18 would be the same - better check to be 100% sure.

you might want to look at a Burris special competition model or a short mag 4x12x32. I have one on my cz 452 varmint and I love it.
a.o. goes down to 7 yards.
don't know if the 12 power would be good for 125 yards....I shoot gophers out to about 120, with the 12 power,obviously they are bigger than a paper target.
in the U.S. they sell for about $ 325.00.

Often scopes will focus down but not on full magnification.
