Hey Gunners,
Look what followed me home from Basspro yesterday. Its a Leupold windriver Sequoia 15-45 X 60mm spotting scope. It will be nice to see my shots without leaving the bench now. I am new to the whole spotting scope clan so I have nothing to compare it to, but from what I can tell its a fairly good bang for the buck. The unit offers 16.5-13.0mm eye relief and is 100% waterproof (i'll believe it when I see it). It came in a fancy case
with a not so fancy tripod. For a scope under $500 I cant really complain though.
I haven't had a chance to take it out to the range yet but I did look across the backyard with it and the optics seem pretty good. At 45x magnification things get a bit darker and the focus is really sensitive but not overly hard to adjust.
Cheers
