i am trying to find some info on a vx2c 3to 9 power scope i never heard of a vx2c and was wondering about the c does it stand for camo or something els when were thy made as thy are not listed on the web know and what would one be worth thanks for your time DUTCH

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say that the "C" stands for "coating" and denotes the change from multicoated to Fully Multicoated in 2004. I could be wrong about the "C", but I'm not wrong about the change-over.

The "c" indicates a design change in the Vari-X II line of scopes. In 1984 Leupold changed the scope internal design to provide more windage and elevation adjustment travel.

Its likely a VariX-II, not a VX-II...

This is correct. The model you are refering to is an older model that was indicated with a "C" to designate a running change in production for internal adjustments. They used to be called VariX-II which was changed to VX-I and VX-II a couple of years ago when the lines were upgraded to better coatings. Phil.
