Anybody here use this optics for your AR? Does it have too short of eye relief? How does this compare in terms of price/performance to Night Force equivalent?

It costs more and does not perform as well as the NF scopes. Given its price I think even the Leupold 1.5-5x28mm MkIV scope is a better performer and value.

IT SUCKS

Like looking thru a straw - the battery sucks - but at least unlike and ELCAN it retains zero...

For similar role (BUT BETER EXECUTED) scopes - I recommend what redleg said (the Leupold 1.5-5) and the NF 1-4 and Schmitt and Bender Short Dot 1.1-4.
FWIW - The CQ/T was the scope Leupold built for Delta after Somalia - but they screwed it up and S&B got the next at bat...

I guess Leupold 1.5-5 is the most economical out of all 3 suggested.

Would love to get a NightForce but I'm going to go broke getting one. :(

Thank you all for the suggestions! :)

For a budget the IOR 1-4 CQB is as good as the Nightforce, I peeped through the Nightforce and I did not find the illumonation that bright outside at all.

Save up for the S&B :) I am

I run the Leupold MK IV 1.5 X 5 M/RT.

Great scope.I particularily like the Illum. SPR ranging reticle, and the low BDC turrets.

What are typical prices for the above mentioned scopes?

The Leupold MK IV 1.5 X 5 M/RT runs around $1200.00 or there abouts.

I think the Nightforce 1-4 is in the ball park of the Leupold.

The S&B is the top of the heap at around $2500.00 (IIRC).

For those of you who still want a CQ/T after all the bashing we have a small number of used units coming in the near future...price is yet to be determined. If you are in Edmonton come in and see the example I have mounted on my Swiss Arms CQB...it should be a good representation of the condition of the units coming in. Phil.

I know not what choice others may make, but for me:
