leupy vx-3l

I've got a 3.5-10 with illuminated B&C that I picked up for legal night hunting. The thought was to have it in quick detachable rings, so the "speciallity" scope could be changed out for general use. It's sitting on Weatherby Ultralightweight rebarrelled with a #2 Gaillard, chambered in .300 Win.

Well, the lever mounts are there, but that scope isn't going anywhere.:D The cut-out effectively addresses the problem of high mounted scopes, and it's a real eye popper to look through.

I have the VX-L 4.5-14x56 with the B&C reticle.
Absolutely love the scope! In the 2 yrs previous to purchasing the scope I had lost 2 different moose due to being able to see the moose in my binoculars but lost them in the scope.
Having the large objective bell helps create a very bright sight picture along with the multiple coatings. You'll be able to see much better in the twilight which is where most scopes fail to properly transmit blue light in the spectrum.
Having a 56mm scope that mounts as low as a 40mm is pretty slick. I've had quite a few at the range ask about the scope and want to look through it.
The only downside is that, as far as I know, you can't buy flip-up covers from anybody else except Leupold and they are a little pricey compared to normal circular types due to the profile shape. Otherwise, you will be VERY impressed!
I do wish that mine had the illuminated reticle though so far it hasn't been an issue.
