How do you like the carrier? I have the L4 steel plates from S&J's previous deal and I'm looking for a good (reasonably priced) carrier.

I have the Grey Ghost Minimalist. Good carrier if you don't need all the frills of other models. Holds plates well, has room for patches front and rear, can fit 3 AR mags side by side on the Molle, and can easily hold hydration packs in the rear. A small pocket as well for loose items, but largely unused for that. Good quality. good stitching etc... Doesn't fit smaller guys well, if you're 5"9 and shorter (unless you are quite large), you'll need it modified.

Just needs the velcro moved on the strap so it will close tighter to move the plates higher, needs a heavy duty sewing machine or $20 to a seamstress.

What qualifies as 'body armor' under Alberta ? If you were to take a common AR 500 target (say a modified IDPA target, about 10x12 with no head zone) and lay truck bed liner on it, would that make it regulated?
