Tried searching, no go. Has anyone tried the lever-action 223's? Henry Long Ranger and the Browning BLR. Any I'm missing? Looking for a traditional wood-stock 223, not bolt action.
.223 has a pointy end that would not do well in a tubular magazine.

Forget about the Henry Long Ranger.
Henry recently released their new .223/5.56 rifle that is MUCH better.
It even takes AR magazines.

I think Ian from Forgotten weapons had a cartridge explode in a tube feed lever action gun he was testing for a review that had a point in the cartridge. I think to this day they were unable to extract all of the shrapnel from this explosion. So pointy .223 lever action is asking for trouble and maybe why such guns like pointy ammunition is not such a great idea design for this type of gun.
Whoa who would have ever seen this coming. The removal of the tube design feed to a box magazine feed a game changer for sure. Something like this design removes anything like pointy ammunition hitting the primer on the next cartage wow. Interesting for sure I might have to visit a gun store that sells these to have a closer look myself could be a new purchase in the near future for sure.
The browning blr has been around for something like 50 years..
