Just finished putting the first 300 rounds through my Golden Boy, which I bought the other day and as said the Henrys are a pleasure to shoot. That said I can't disagree with critics who say that Henrys feel "cheap", the materials used for the tube mag and receiver (brasslite in my case) do seem to be average quality and look like they may scuff easily and the internals seem roughly finished, however the stock and barrel seem excellent, at least by my standards. The rear buckhorn sights are pretty weird to me and show too much air for my liking when aligned with the front bead. Despite that, the gun is a good shooter, the action is smooth and the trigger is pretty good for what it is.
Still, I'm very happy, it may fall short compared against a Winchester 9422, Browning BL22, or Marlin 39A, but it's also a more affordable gun. It's a fun plinker and if that's all you're looking for in a lever action .22, I think it's a good buy.
