Lever action 9mm

Kind of cool. Be nice if they took Glock mags! :)

They made some stylistic choices that I wouldn't have but I'm sure there's a market for them. I think the only part I really don't like lookswise is the stock and the shape of the lever. Is that a magpull 870 stock? Edit: looked at the site, it is.

No, no it wouldn't. Why would you want to be limited to a 10 round mag ? I would prefer proprietary mags to allow for 20+ rounds

I think you should have any size magazine you want. But for me the Glock mag would still offer 10 rounds and not extend below the lever, Glock mags are cheap and available, and I already have 60 or more of them. :)

Would they have to limit the mags since they were originally designed for use in one of this company's Pistol Caliber Carbines?

OHH I didn't see that. Then yeah, It would have to be 10 round max as the Phoenix is a pistol. In that case, I would also prefer Glock mags GATEHOUSE!!!

5 rounds actually, the POF Phoenix is offered factory direct as a rifle. That pretty much kills any special utility this gun could offer beyond being a rimless-chambered lever action

Virtually every NR 9mm on the market is a semiauto and apparently on the current chopping block, so we could be looking at needing something like this soon. Gaaah. But good to see at least one firearm designer has that base already covered with something sufficiently weird.
